Testing in a Targa at Williams Crawford Porsche.Shakedown and road test of a 1971 911 2.2 T Targa
After a miserable winter we have been blessed with clear skies and no rain. That coincided with the completion of our 1971 911 Targa. Although this beauty already has a new owner, we anted to clock up a few miles and iron out any glitches. So I had a good excuse to drive her!
More testing, were dedicated, this time on Sunday, to get the milk. I set off at 8.00,…..it took me over an hour to buy the milk….From home to Church in Tavistock via my favourite B roads. Then on through Milton Abbot, deserted but for a few cyclists and farmers. On to Launceston and down the A30 , then coffee and back through Bray Shop, Coads Green and Callington. Fabulous.
This 911 came to us in a good condition, we stripped, repainted, refurbished and finally tested her. It’s going to be great fun for the new owner. In its original colour of Ivory white, black leatherette seats and Fuchs wheels. Great fun…thats what a Porsche should provide!
Call and we can help you.
