Jaguar E Type Series III Roadster 1973

1973 Jaguar E type Series 3 V12 Roadster

For the perfectionist that enjoys the drive.

Although we know Porsche inside out, we also recognize an exceptional classic when we see it.

This E Type is a unique opportunity for the fastidious enthusiast. The car was built to order for a gentleman who for decades, actually dealt with these classics on a daily basis. The next owner will benefit from one man’s mission to build the best E Type he could, it was to his high standard (rather like me having a 911 built for myself.) Should you commission a similar build you would have a long wait and indeed, a very hefty bill, which is likely to cost more in total then we ask here.

The finish, the shut lines, the attention to detail is clear the deeper you look. It has the important upgrades of power steering and better engine cooling. Since the rebuild in late 2016, this E Type has had very little use due to the decline of the owner’s health. All the more reason to enjoy things like this now.

On the road it is glorious; it immediately gives confidence, it’s easy and comfortable to drive, has a superb sound and limitless performance. It has great presence and a real film star quality. Imagine heading for the Med, cruising along the Côte d’Azur? This is the car for the job………..

Its presentation is to the level most would describe as flawless and definitely superior to many restorations we have seen at shows.

Following the photo shoot, our lady photographer simply said ‘it is outrageously beautiful’.

The advert previously written described it;  must be one of the best in the world, easily mistaken for new ……drives like new, like new condition, if you want the very very best this is it. Just breath taking.

And we agree.
