Williams Crawford specialises in the purchase, sale, servicing, restoration, and repair of all Porsche models, and as part of our 26-member strong team, you’ll contribute to our shared goal of delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities & Accountability

  • Produce accurate reporting for the business using internal & external accounting systems.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts to established timescales. Ensure the Management Accounts Checklist is fully completed monthly and reviewed with the external account firm.
  • Communicate regularly with the Directors and Head of Business to ensure that the monthly management accounts / composite reports are fully understood and that any necessary corrective action is taken.
  • Analyse monthly accounts in order to highlight areas to improve profitability or reduce costs.
  • Review composite reports for any anomalies with particular regard to the statistics.
  • Ensure that all nominal balance sheet accounts are reconciled regularly and investigate and resolve outstanding balances to maximise company cash flow. 
  • Facilitate monthly review meetings on key reconciliations and profits with the Head of Business and Directors.
  • Have a working knowledge of all the companies HMRC requirements including VAT, Corporation Tax, Benefits in Kind and general compliance to maintain our low risk status. Prepare the quarterly VAT return.
  • Have knowledge of the second hand margin scheme 
  • Oversee the Fixed Asset Register including reviewing fully depreciated assets for disposal.
  • Produce schedules, reconciliations and reports required for monthly and yearly statutory accounts purposes.
  • Compile annual budgets in consultation with the Head of Business and Directors.
  • Manage the administrative team to achieve our goals.
  • Liaise with shipping companies and transact in different currencies.
  • Communicate well with inbound and outbound calls and emails with customers 

Qualifications:

  • Accounts qualifications required minimum fully experienced AAT 
  • Experience is required as this is a vital role.
  • Previous motor trade experience is desirable, but not essential.
  • Accounts qualifications required minimum fully experienced AAT 
  • Strong Computer and spreadsheet skills.

Position: Full Time

Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 (Depending on Experience)
