Porsche 356 C LHD coupe by Karmann 1964

Arrive in style with this classic Porsche.

You will get a warm welcome wherever you go in this 356; to the local restaurant, or heading for St Tropez. This one is just right for those adventures. It’s quite happy to quietly cruise at 70mph all day long. 

Presenting really well in its original shade of Signal red, with a deep shine and nice chrome. The interior is particularly attractive, with recently replaced carpets in red square weave, black seats, headrests and lovely wood rim steering wheel, along with a period radio. We have also fitted new chrome wheels. 

As a 356 ‘C’, it has features that were introduced on these later cars making it particularly good to drive and more refined. Disc brakes, outside filler, and this one has 12 volt electrics and a powerful (in 356 terms) 90 hp engine. (Type 616/36, not matching numbers but same type). 

A car we know well, having supplied it and maintained it for the last owner, and previously with collector clients of ours. 

It’s well worth highlighting that the technical bits have received really good attention, as the previous owner was using this car regularly. Notably, it has electronic ignition, rebuilt carbs, refurbished brakes, king pins, shock absorbers, bushes and a recent set of tyres. Even the clock works and the radio plays through new speakers.

Supplied new on st May 1964 by Illinois dealer PC Import, one of just 7 dealers in the USA at that time. It lived in Utah and California, before coming to the UK in 2013.

This 356 is perfect for a new owner to enjoy and drive.
