Porsche 996 (911) Targa Tiptronic S 2003

The joy of a 996 Targa is that it adapts to your driving mood: Slide the glass roof all the way back for convertible-style, open top thrills, enjoy the shelter of the light-filled cabin on a cold day, or close the blind for the full cosy coupe experience.

For the last 18 years, this 2003 example has been with the same keeper (with just 3 previously). He has carried out much of the servicing and maintenance himself during this time, with the car covering less than 16,000 miles in total.

There’s a total of 14 stamps in the service book, along with a folder of invoices and receipts, plus 14 MOT certificates. We will now carry out a full service on this 996 in the Williams Crawford workshop before it leaves for a new home.

In 2009 at approximately 45,000 miles, and whilst under Porsche warranty, the engine was replaced at OPC Hatfield.
