At Williams Crawford, every handover is a special moment. Recently, we had the privilege of preparing and delivering one of the finest Cayman S models we’ve ever seen — a car so immaculate, with just 9,000 miles, that it may well be among the very best examples in the country.

Not only was the car itself exceptional, but the new owner requested a series of bespoke touches to make it truly his own. The result is a Cayman S that combines originality, individuality, and the highest level of preparation.

Personal Enhancements to Match the Owner’s Vision

Our customer wanted the car to feel distinctly his — subtle, tasteful upgrades that enhance the Cayman’s look and longevity. Among the changes:

• Zunsport front grills: a smart upgrade to protect the exposed AC condensers and coolant radiators from the debris and leaves which often build up over time and contribute to failure. They look neat too.  
• OE Cayman R style body stripes accentuate the Cayman’s lines and pick up on the other enhancements.
• Gloss black mirror caps and side air vents tie together with the grilles and the stripes.
• Cayman S badging on the rear, gives it a clean, finishing touch.

We also discovered something we’d never seen before — a factory spec cleverly designed luggage rack, clicking in and out with ease, which keeps items in the rear securely in place. A neat and practical addition.

The end result? It’s lovely to feel you have something uniquely yours, our customer certainly achieved that with taste.

What’s a 9,000 mile 987 Cayman like? It Feels Like New.

What a superb buy, from the moment you open the door you know its special, the steering wheel and leather upholstery feel untouched, with no seatbelt or scuff marks to betray its age. It still carries that unmistakable “new car” feel and smell — something that instantly impressed both us and its new owner, who travelled from north of London to collect it. It’s hard to believe this is a 16-year-old Porsche.

The client, a discerning enthusiast, described himself as “uber fussy” — but even he was blown away by the condition and the enhancements.

It was beyond his expectations and a pleasure to share in his joy on passing ownership of yet another Porsche to a person who appreciates it.

Our preparations start long before we even see a car, checking provenance, security and so on, then it goes to be inspected in detail. After our inspection by our own team, this Cayman was made fully up to date with servicing and ready for enjoyment and lasting satisfaction.
