Bringing together Porsche Drivers in the Westcountry
On Sunday the 24th March we welcomed 70+ group members of the Westcountry Porsche Drivers Club to our facilities in Saltash. Being located on the Devon & Cornwall border proves a great spot to open our doors to this local group.
The core aim of the Westcountry Porsche Drivers club is to bring together like minded Porsche owners in the Westcountry who love the thrill of driving their cars in a friendly and relaxed group, so to become a club sponsor and advocate for the WCPDC with shared values, it makes sense.
Martin Josey – Club Director has this to comment on the day:
“I’m delighted to say we were blessed with clear roads and dry weather. Setting off in 2 groups nice and early. We received a very warm welcome from our club sponsor Williams Crawford, and there were a number of staff who had come in on a Sunday to help make everything just right on the day.
I spoke with staff at Williams Crawford several times in the lead up to the event to arrange the logistics of the day. When Adrian asked me on Friday if I some people may be interested in a passenger ride in the rally cars, I though, are you kidding? They will jump at the chance! This was a wonderful surprise to announce on the day. Several eager members took them up on the offer, all came back with smiles, like they had coat hangers in their mouths!
From the feedback and various photos, a good time was had by all”.
