At the Goodwood Members Meeting 2023 it was Porsche that really stood out. It’s something every Porsche owner should be proud of, because whatever Porsche you drive, it has engineering developed by Motorsport.

Many of the cars shown were Porsche endurance racers, veterans of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Consider this, in 1983, 40 years ago, the winning Porsche covered 3138 miles, at an average speed of 130.77 miles an hour, that included stops for routine fuel and driver changes.

130 mph for 24 hours, you need a special car. And that’s Porsche.
