When you look at the numbers, 700 Porsche sold is impressive by anyone’s standards, but the numbers aren’t the real story here – the real story is the man behind them.

This lovely gentleman used to work for a friend of ours. For years, I would say to Richard (my business partner), “Andy would be great.” 

Richard, ever the realist, would reply, “He wouldn’t come — he’s happy where he is.” And so the same conversation rolled on, year after year. 

Turn back the clock more than seven years, and Andy would often come into our old premises with a grin and say, “Give me a job.” But at that time, we were already fully staffed.  Still, he persisted. In his easy, natural way. He sold himself without trying. And eventually, we had to concede. 

Those qualities have never left him: patience, persistence, and a genuine desire to help. They’re not what this trade is always known for, but part of our mission has been to change that, and Andy fits that mission perfectly. 

Because while he may have sold 700 Porsche, what really matters is what you don’t see in the headline.

He has sold fellow enthusiasts on us. He has persuaded sellers to trust us with their cars, and he has inspired others to take the leap into Porsche ownership and enjoyment. 

So yes, 700 is a milestone – but the story behind it is where the true value lies.
