The real world Macan review - Adrian Crawford
This week, instead of the sports cars I usually gravitate towards, I spent some time with a Porsche Macan. It’s a model that represents many of the Macans we regularly buy and sell, so rather than approaching it as a typical sales review, I decided to take it home and live with it for a few days to see what it’s really like in everyday use.
The Macan is often labelled an SUV, but that description doesn’t quite tell the full story. In reality, it feels far closer to a sports car that happens to have more space, rather than a traditional off-roader designed for climbing mountains. It carries the familiar Porsche driving feel, just with added practicality.
I share my honest impressions after spending proper time with it — how it drives, what it’s like to live with, and why it’s such a popular choice for so many Porsche owners. There’s plenty more to discuss, and you can see it all in the video.
