Porsche 718 Cayman GTS (4.0) manual 2022

Performance, precision and pleasing to the eye.

That pretty much sums up the 718 Cayman GTS.

When customers demanded a return to a 6 cylinder power unit for their mid-engined coupes and roadsters, Porsche listened. And then they delivered; in style; by using the naturally aspirated 4.0 litre found in the GT4.

This low mileage 2022 example has the prized manual gearbox, complete with dynamic throttle-blip function, and utilises the same dual mass flywheel set-up as its GT3 big brother.

Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV) with a mechanically locking diff, and Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) complete the technicalities, resulting in 395 hp, a 182 mph top speed, and a 0-62 sprint time of 4.5 seconds.

The Jet black metallic bodywork wears a SportDesign styling package, and benefits from whole-car paint protection film (PPF).

20 inch 718 Sport alloys, factory finished in satin Platinum, with full colour Porsche crest centre caps.

Delivered in March 2022 by OPC Cardiff, serviced by OPC Silverstone in October 2023 at 6,035 miles. It remains under Porsche New Vehicle Warranty until March 2025.

If you’re looking for a Cayman which is more refined than the raw and rowdy GT4, but with more power than the ‘S’ (an extra 49 hp), then the GTS perfectly fits the bill.
