An exceptional way to enjoy open-top driving!

The 718 Spyder is a successful combination of breathtaking good looks and incredible performance.

In effect, it is a drop-top GT4. It shares the same 4 litre, naturally aspirated 6 cylinder making 414 bhp, the same chassis, suspension, steering and brakes, and the same 7 speed PDK (double clutch) semi automatic transmission.

This 2022 model example was delivered by OPC Sutton Coldfield in November 2021.

One owner, just 1,200 miles, and covered by its Porsche New Vehicle Warranty until the end of November 2024.

Highlights include:

  • Gentian blue metallic paint with matching roll over hoops and a black convertible hood.
  • Satin Platinum Spyder alloys and high gloss black brake calipers.
  • Switchable sports exhaust system with black tail pipes.
  • LED main headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus (PDLS Plus) and tinted tail lights.
  • Exclusive Design fuel filler cap.
  • Rear ParkAssist with reversing camera.
  • Electronically folding wing mirrors with courtesy lighting.
  • Sport Chrono Package.
  • The interior is a mixture of leather and Porsche Race-Tex, which is a microfibre material with a suede-type finish (like Alcantara).
  • Heated, GT Sports multi function steering wheel with PDK paddles for manual gear changes.
  • Heated, 18-way electrically adjustable Adaptive Sports seats Plus.
  • BOSE Surround Sound System.
  • PCM with voice control, online navigation, telephone module, online services, Apple CarPlay etc.
  • Cruise control.
  • Light Design Package.
  • VTS Security Package (including PCC).

Performance and handling highlights include Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV), Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) and Dynamic Engine Mounts (PADM). The naturally aspirated 4.0 litre 6 cylinder sounds magnificent and delivers 414 bhp and 430 Nm of torque, resulting in a 3.9 second 0-62 mph sprint and a roof-up-or-roof-down claimed top speed of 186 mph.

Unlike its Boxster brothers, the Spyder’s roof requires some manual effort to drop and then raise again, but it’s fully worth it for the resulting driving experience.

Porsche have recently announced that the Spyder will be discontinued in 2024, making it surely more desirable than ever? This low mileage cracker is an excellent opportunity to own a little piece of Porsche history whilst you still can.
