Porsche 911 Carrera 2.7 RHD Targa 1974

Very rare 911 Carrera 2.7 MFI 210 hp, with great potential.

One of the rarest of all G model impact bumper 911 and sharing the mechanicals with the legendary 2.7 RS models.

This 911 has potential written all over it. Definitely an exceptional opportunity that should satisfy both heart and head for a 911 lover. In addition it is, of course, great to drive.

One of the earliest 2.7 Carreras, and it’s thought approximately 50 or 60 RHD made it to the UK. The bigger question is, how many are left? Many will have been lost to corrosion and harvested for their mechanicals.

This one, an original RHD, with matching numbers, originally left the factory in Royal purple, One of the rarest of all colours, and quite possibly unique on a RHD Carrera Targa?

Looking pretty fit as it stands today, painted in Oxford blue (Dalmatian blue in the USA). However, the potential is obvious if given a straightforward cosmetic enhancement to match the factory specification. You could have something extremely special and possibly unique.

Extensive history dating all the way back to June 1974 when it was supplied via Rob Walker’s in Corsley for a client in the Channel Islands. Restored 30 years ago and still presenting well today.

We believe it has significant potential to increase in value as the popularity gathers for impact bumper 911, and further enhanced if you chose to repaint in the Royal purple.
