An air cooled classic with modern day manners.

This 964 Targa is an absolute pleasure to drive and is more than capable of dealing with current roads and traffic.

Comfortable and fuss-free, with eager performance and a light clutch, just get in and drive; it doesn’t realise it’s nearly 35 years old.

The 3.6 litre 6 cylinder makes 250 hp and has an unmistakable soundtrack, enhanced when you remove the Targa roof.

And then there’s the way it looks; Baltic blue metallic with 16 inch Design 90 alloy wheels. It is effortlessly cool and oozing with style.

The interior is pure 90’s Porsche at its best; Marine blue with blue and white pinstripe velour for the seat inlays. Factory optioned with code M526, adding this distinct material to the doors and rear panels. It is unusual to see an interior with these extra trims, and in such fine, non-faded, original condition. It also has its factory Blaupunkt Toronto radio cassette.

First supplied in January 1990, this would have been an exciting all-new model for Devon Porsche dealers, Cooper Exeter Ltd. The stamps in the service book suggest it has resided in and around the Devon area throughout its lifetime. It was in the same ownership for almost 30 years before Williams Crawford sold it back in 2023 and has had just 5 keepers in total.

We carried out a major service in our workshop fewer than 700 miles ago. We also completed compression and leak down tests, with favourable and consistent results.

It is becoming more and more difficult to find good quality 964 models like this; they thrive on ongoing care and appreciative owners, and if you look after them, they will reward you with a fabulous classic Porsche experience.
