This 2013 981 Boxster appeals on every level. Timelessly good looking in its classic Porsche coloured jacket, paired with a desirable specification and exceptionally low mileage, they don’t come along like this very often.

Supplied new by OPC Sheffield at the end of March 2013, in Guards Red with body-coloured roll-over bars, complemented by a black convertible hood and matching black interior.

Sitting on 19 inch Boxster S alloy wheels, complete with full-colour Porsche crest centre caps, and is further enhanced by twin Sports tailpipes, electrically folding exterior mirrors and ParkAssist front and rear.

Inside, the Sports seats have the Porsche crest embossed on the headrests and the floor mats are factory optioned with red leather edging. The SportDesign steering wheel features PDK paddles, allowing for manual gear changes when the mood takes you.

Also featuring stainless steel door sill guards and white instrument dials, along with the Porsche CDR 31 audio system with mobile phone preparation and air conditioning.

Even with so few miles covered, this Boxster has been maintained exactly as it should be. The service book has stamps recorded in 2015 (805 miles), 2017 (4,635 miles), 2019 (8,975 miles), 2021 (12,169 miles) and 2023 (12,432 miles). And we will service it again at c. 14,750 miles here in the Williams Crawford workshop before it heads to a new home. The MOT history is equally reassuring, showing a clean bill of health each year, without any advisories.

Powered by a mid mounted 2.7 litre flat 6 making 265 hp, driving the rear wheels via the optioned 7 speed PDK (double clutch) gearbox. In real terms, that means a 0-62 mph time of 5.7 seconds and a suggested top speed of 163 mph – even with the roof down!
