A 981 Boxster S is one of those rare cars that writes its own reviews. A few hours on a sunny day, roof down, eating up the miles on a winding B-road, is all it takes to understand why these Porsche are held in such high regard.

This one has done exactly what it was built for.

Yes, the mileage is higher, but they’ve been the right miles. Regularly serviced, properly maintained, and clearly enjoyed by owners who understood its true purpose.

Regularly serviced with stamps in 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019, 2020, 2022, 2024 and 2026. The most recent was a major, carried out here in the Williams Crawford workshop, and included new spark plugs and a brake fluid change.

When it left the factory in its crisp Carrara white jacket, with matching roll over hoops and a contrasting black convertible roof and interior, it was well equipped for the keen driver. Later enhanced with main dealer fitted SportDesign steering wheel featuring PDK paddle shift, and a switchable Sports exhaust, it delivers an even more visceral and engaging experience.

Supplied new by OPC Cardiff in June 2012 for the 2013 model year, its specification was carefully chosen to balance driver focus with everyday usability. Heated Sports seats Plus offer excellent support and comfort, complemented by Guards Red seat belts for a subtle splash of colour.

For longer journeys, it’s equipped with cruise control and two-zone climate control, ParkAssist front and rear, and Bi-Xenon headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS), making it just as usable day-to-day as it is enjoyable on the right road.

Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with navigation and telephone modules is fitted, along with a universal audio interface for external devices. The BOSE Surround Sound System is there too, as an alternative soundtrack to the Sports exhaust.
