Figures suggest only 333 RHD Targa were produced with the 6 speed manual gearbox; this is one of them.
A Targa model has featured in the 911 line-up since 1967, but when Porsche reintroduced it for the 993 in 1996, they updated the manually removeable roof section with an all-electric, sliding glass panel. At the touch of a button, you can bring the outside, in – perfect for a sunny day. When the weather’s not so great, close the roof and sunblind and you’re immediately back in cosy coupe territory. Definitely the best of both worlds.
