Porsche 997 Gen II (911) Carrera S PDK coupe 2011

Low miles, low owners, and a rock-solid maintenance history.

The second generation of the 997 represents a particularly appealing chapter in Porsche history. Packed with new technology, yet retaining much of the analogue feel of earlier generations, it’s easy to understand why these cars remain such a popular 911 choice.

This 2011 model year example was originally supplied in June 2010 by OPC Chester to the first of just three owners.

Finished in gloss black, it now wears a matching set of 19-inch SportDesign alloy wheels.

The Sport Chrono Package Plus offers a choice of driver settings, sharpening throttle response and PDK gear shifts, whilst also adjusting the suspension damping. A retrofitted genuine Porsche Sports exhaust adds a touch of extra theatre on the 4.3 second 0-62 mph sprint. Power comes from the uprated 3.8 litre flat 6, driving the rear wheels via a 7 speed PDK (double clutch) transmission.

Inside, you are treated to full black leather with heated seats, fully automatic climate control plus Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with navigation and telephone modules, plus Porsche Sound Package Plus.

The servicing and maintenance history is particularly reassuring. Six services were completed by Official Porsche Centres in 2012, 2014, 2016, 2018, 2020 and 2022, followed by two further services here at Williams Crawford in 2024 and 2026. The most recent, just 25 miles ago, was a major service, including new spark plugs and a brake fluid change.

Just 3,500 miles ago, over £11,000 was invested in a comprehensive programme of preventative maintenance and repairs. This included replacement coolant pipes, air conditioning condensers, brake pipes, drive belt tensioner and various suspension components, along with numerous other items. It’s this level of care and attention, particularly to the less obvious maintenance items, that makes such a reassuring difference.
