Immediately recognizable in its pearlescent blue jacket and gold wheels, an Impreza WRX is one of the most identifiable cars of its era.

Synonymous with World Rally, the Subaru team had unforgettable success with driving legends Colin McRae and Richard Burns.

And on a winding B-road sprint, there are few other cars that can keep up.

Power comes courtesy of a 2.5 litre, turbo charged boxer (flat 4) engine, driving all 4 wheels via a 6 speed, close ratio manual gearbox. 276 bhp and 392 Nm of torque results in effortless acceleration, with stopping power to match, thanks to the Brembo brakes.

This 2nd generation ‘Hawk Eye’ saloon was supplied in September 2007 by Monty’s Subaru in Sheffield.

It has spent much of its life on the Isle of Man and, despite the low miles covered, it has seen regular servicing with 11 stamps in the book. The most recent cambelt change was carried out at 25,098 miles (3,743 miles ago).

Currently fitted with a touch screen Clarion media system, the original radio/CD/cassette player is still with the car.
