A Moke with poke!
There’s never a dull moment with this outrageous custom built Morris Moke.
At its heart is the immortal 1,275cc A-Series engine, sprinkled with a hefty dose of Swiftune magic dust. Previously prepared for an FIA spec Cooper S race car, when grafted into the Moke, the 130+ bhp proved just a little too much! Swiftune graciously detuned the motor to a ‘mere’ 100 bhp by installing a different cam and head.
The considerable increase of power from the factory 34 bhp required further upgrades, and these include a Swiftune 4 speed manual gearbox, Cooper S brakes, Hardy Spicer driveshafts and Gas-a-Just shocks.
The original 1965 Spruce green bodywork has been restored and is now painted in Tweed grey, with a smart black hood.
The front seat pads are finished in London tan leather, although a black pair are also offered with the car.
The transformation, carried out by Mini specialists Nippy Cars, is finished off with a (rare) Cooper S speedo.
This Moke will surely draw a crowd wherever it goes, perfect for classic car shows and events, or simply just for the fun of it.
